What size white square for lap?

Even though it takes a little bit more time it is well worth it to get accurate points. Definitely recommend this way!

I love the tips on the piece quilt sampler. I am not seasoned enough to know when where or what part of the blocks I can use the foundation paper piecing. Thank you. If you are looking for suggestions on Friday live steam (hahah), i would love to have some more information on how to look at a block and how to incorporate the paper foundation paper.. that you! I am learning so much on this QAL!!

I made a queen size falling charms quilt with only squares from my stash with white on white background. It is one of my all time favorite quilts.

Make a copy of the pattern and us it as your working copy so you can draw and cut out portions.

I struggle reading patterns. I often need a video to understand the steps. I am still a beginner so maybe eventually patterns will make more sense to me. For now I am grateful for UA-cam videos and Fat Quarter Shop.

I love reading quilt patterns. I could set and look at them all day. Fig tree quilt patterns are the hardest for me. I guess it’s how they are written, bust most of the patterns I love.

I am so sad you are not doing the cute farmyard quilt kit. Now I have to search for it. I saw you have the pattern so I may have to buy fabrics, but it won’t be as cute.

Omg there were so many lovely new collections it’s so hard to choose! But when Kimberly showed the Pop N Play by Fisher Price I was absolutely sold! I had the rolly thingy and the phone!!!!! I can’t waaait for these fabrics!! ❤

What is the quilt to the Kimberly's left?

My best mattress advice. If you have a king size bed, get the setup for 2 twins that connect. We have electric bed that rises and lowers. Our only regret is not doing the Separate setup so one of us can have it lowered while the other has it raised.

Lord! I've been wrestling with all that fabric at the sewing machine when I could've pinned with it all folded and manageable!!??

I was so bored with quitting for a few years but saw Old Glory collection and a few patterns and fell in love all over again with quilting.😊

I have used several different patterns and the It's Sew Emma are the best.

Live in Maine along the coast….southern Maine. Coastal fabrics are difficult to find. We had several wonderful small quilt shops in southern Maine. We lost all of them from having to shut down due to Covid mandates. Love coastal. Both prints and the colors.

What Juki did you buy? I have the 1181 which I haven’t used yet.
